MUSCAT / AZAIBA

The charming capital of Oman, nestled between the cascading Al Hajar mountain range and the Arabian Sea; Muscat, much like the rest of Oman, radiates a warm and welcoming presence, thanks to its people.

Muscat is not only home to a few of the country's most impeccable landmarks, such as the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque or the Royal Opera House, but also boasts a range of natural beauty ready to be explored. From paddle boarding through wadis and mangroves, to diving amongst rich marine life or dancing with the dolphins in the Dimaniyat islands, Muscat is teeming with adventurous activities.

For a colourful trip through culture and history, don't miss a visit to old Muscat, home to the National Museum, the Sultan's Al Alam Palace, or the exquisite Mutrah Souq, the oldest souq in Oman.

The best time to visit Muscat is from October to April, where temperatures range between 20 to 30°C and the wind can blow anywhere from 10 to 20 knots. The ocean temperature, ranging between 25 to 30°C is perfect for all kinds of water activities.
